Level Up - Increase Your Water Intake

Most of us could be drinking more water. You’ve heard the recommendations.. you know why it’s important to stay hydrated for general health reasons, weight loss, healthy, glowing skin, etc. 

There are so many reasons to drink up! 

So here are my go-to tips on making sure I get my water in, every day.

 

1. Carry a water bottle everywhere. Yes. Everywhere. 

In the car. To your office. Over to your friends house. Wherever. If it’s there, you’ll be more inclined to drink. 

 

2. Follow the 10 gulp rule. When you go to take a drink, aim for 10 gulps. 

 

3. Drink through a straw! I don’t know why this works, but it does. You’ll drink more water if you’re drinking through a straw. Promise. 

 

4. Start early. Try to get 2/3 of your daily water in before noon so you feel hydrated all day. This also helps prevent your bladder from waking you up in the middle of the night.
